When I started this blog, it was a place to post content about BlueShirt Nation (BSN)- a social networking site for Best Buy Employees that Gary Koelling and I created. Since then, its become a place where I can share what I’m working on and what I’m learning.
I spent 3 years at Best Buy- co-founded the social technology group there. It was an awesome gig- great company, incredible culture. It helped me create an expertise that I love.
It also led to a new adventure when Microsoft came calling. In July 2009, I made a hard decision to leave Best Buy and join Microsoft. It felt like a good way to round out my experience in the emerging social technology space. So far, so good.
So you’ll see my posts will evolve as well- from what I’ve tried at Best Buy to the things I’m doing at Microsoft.
