This is a great post and I can&#039;t agree more with your point of view on the future, it will be hard for some but this is the path that must be traveled, it really is the only option, and I believe Best Buy is positioned well to do it.

This is a very interesting POV. But, in the current situation, it doesn&#039;t feel realistic. I&#039;m hearing a lot is happening at the top of the mountain right now. Doesn&#039;t feel very open at this time. Maybe they need to figure out some foundational stuff before opening up to the village down below. (are you following the analogy? :) ).

The only thing I can say is that I believe its more important than ever to open up in tough times like this.  Its not a comfortable thing and it takes work, but the payoff is huge- and in line with the overall vision.  Gary spelled it out well in a post recently- check it here.
